I've been here since last Wednesday our hosts are amazingI have played a gig, learnt African drumming and today have been shopping. the hi light of the day was being surprised by Jane with this awesome cake. Though I'm away from home I have been made to feel very welcome. When I get back I'll be on the roads learning to drive. Working on my new EP and finishing off my single.
Out of action! I had a freak fencing accident last week which has meant I cannot play guitar at present. My glove failed and a sword went straight through my right hand. Luckily no severe damage. I have been working more with the piano & backing tracks, I went to my gig with a new style for now. I'm working with the Physiotherapist to get back on track very soon. It is good to expand what you can do and stretch yourself.
A busy month for me as we are full on with events at school and I'm soon off to Ghana to volunteer at the Kokribite Chiltern Centre 18 - 25th durning ½ term. I'm excited as I will be teaching music, playing a few gigs for the town and also building using the wasted plastic. They have a very green foot print in this area. I will also be filming a documentary of my trip hi-lighting the use of the donated clothes from our school.
Learning to drive on my return as I'll then be 17
I'm looking forward to working on the schools trip, more up coming gigs and my EP
I have now been on this journey for the last 2 years and it's amazing documenting life and watching my career develop.
Young chap finding his feet, likes the finer things but on a lemonade budget, for now!
